Music Lessons

Bradford Music and Arts Service have peripatetic music teachers who visit school each week from Bradford Music and Arts Service, providing lessons on a wide range of instruments.

The cost of music service lessons is £70 per term for a 20 minute small group lesson each week, or £188 per term for a 20 minute individual lesson each week. Parents are billed directly by Bradford Music and Arts service, and there is also an additional charge for instrument hire if required.

Children will receive a minimum of thirty lessons through the academic year.

To apply for lessons on any of the instruments please complete the online form on the Music & Arts Service website, All applications received by the end of July will be given priority for September 2026.

MUSIC FOR SCHOOLS FOUNDATION

We are also providing the opportunity for your child to learn an instrument in partnership with the Music for Schools Foundation. This is a non-profit making charity that provide small group lessons on Recorder, Clarinet, Flute, Trumpet, Cornet and Saxophone.

 

How much does it cost?

Your child can learn to play for around £1.50 a day and packages include an instrument, music book, music stand book bag and instrument maintenance cover. If you already have an instrument, you can just pay for the lessons and there are also reductions for children eligible for Pupil Premium.
