Buckden House 2025

We’re off on our residential trip and very excited!
Thank you for your support this morning and for sending well-packed luggage.
We’ll send an update when we leave Buckden on Friday, but we expect to be back at school around 2:30pm. When we arrive at the turning circle:
  • The luggage store will be opened for parents to collect their child’s bags.
  • Once all adults have stepped back from the coach, a staff member will release one child at a time from the coach steps to their parent.
If you’re unable to collect your child at this time, don’t worry—they will stay with us in school until the usual finish time of 3:20pm.
If you collect your Year 6 child early and would also like to collect another child from school, please go via the main office.
We look forward to seeing you all on Friday after a wonderful week!

12:30pm We have all arrived back at Buckden House for lunch. What an amazing morning! Some wet feet and cold hands here today but a swift turn around ready for the next lot of adventures this afternoon!

6:30pm- we are home, tired and well fed. Mac and cheese or fish fingers for tea tonight and later we have the tuck shop and a movie night! Take a look at some photos of our wonderful day!

Wednesday 4th December

8am - a slow morning for some of us today, all the adventures are taking their toll! We all perked up and got ready to head off for our activities. Not the best weather for us today as it is a little cold and damp but we are well looked after with all the boots, waterproofs and spare hats and gloves!

1pm- back together for lunch after an exciting morning. We have loved the archery and have all done really well to improve our accuracy! Some of us have ventured onto the high ropes today while the rest went scrambling. We have had one group grappling the leap of faith and the 'crocodile crossing'! (No real crocodiles I promise!) After a wet and cold morning we have played a bit of rummy and jenga to warm up next to the roaring fire. Let's see what this afternoon brings!
